About Darius Slay
Darius Slay is an All-Pro cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles. Slay was selected in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. He played college football at Mississippi State, where he was a second-team All-Southeastern Conference pick in 2012. Entering the pro ranks, Slay was named a starter as a rookie with the Lions. He continued to grow into his role, culminating in selection to his first Pro Bowl in 2017. That season, Slay also earned first-team All-Pro honors after he was among the league leaders in interceptions and passes defended. He became the first Lions player to record over 20 pass defenses since 1998. Slay followed that up with two more trips to the Pro Bowl before being traded to the Eagles in 2020.
