About Darrell Stuckey
Darrell Stuckey attended the University of Kansas as a member of the Jayhawks Football Team. At 5'11" and 200 lbs. Stuckey played defensive back, earning a starting position as a sophomore. From there on he never lost his spot, compiling 295 career tackles which is 2nd most all-time for a Jayhawks defensive back. Following his Big 12 Sportsman of the Year career at Kansas, Stuckey entered the 2010 NFL Draft as one of the top available safeties and he was selected in the fourth round by the San Diego Chargers. Stuckey spent his first few seasons with the Chargers as a special teams standout, leading the team in many special teams categories as one of the fastest players on the team. As a three-time special teams captain, Stuckey finally saw increased playtime in the 2014 season, recording 27 tackles with 2 fumble recoveries and a TD on his way to his first Pro Bowl selection.
