About Darren Woodson
Darren Woodson played 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys from 1992 to 2004 after a standout career at Arizona State University. While playing for the Sun Devils he earned All-Pac 10 honors in three consecutive years from 1989 to 1991 and was named an honorable mention All-American in 1990 at the safety position. In 2005 Woodson was inducted into the Arizona State University Hall of Fame and was also inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 2009 in honor of his contributions to the Sun Devils football program. After earning his degree in criminal justice he headed to the NFL as a second round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in the 1992 NFL Draft. During his 12-year career he was a five-time Pro Bowl selection and earned NFL All-Pro honors three times from 1994 to 1996 while leading the Cowboys to three Super Bowl titles. Woodson is the Cowboys all-time leader in tackles with 1,350 and was honored with the Ed Block Courage Award and Bart Starr Man of the Year Award during his career for his dedication to leadership, community and team.
