About Dave Feldman
Dave Feldman was born and raised in Palo Alto, California and got his start in sports as a basketball player. After a promising prep career he matriculated to Tufts University, where he played basketball and earned his bachelors degree in English. After graduation he served as an assistant basketball coach at Stanford University before beginning his successful broadcasting career in 1987 with KCBS 740 radio in San Francisco. In 1988 he earned his first TV broadcasting position in Monterey, California and then moved to Santa Anna, California to serve as a reporter with the Orange County Newschannel. Eight years later he signed on with the Worldwide Leader in Sports, ESPN, and has since become one of the top hosts and television sports personalities in the business. While at ESPN he has served as a host on SportsCenter and ESPNEWS, and has also performed play-by-play duties for college basketball games across the spectrum.
