About David Greene
David Greene was a star quarterback at South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia, where he earned USA Today All-USA honors after throwing for 2,102 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior. After graduation, he matriculated to the University of Georgia and led the Bulldogs to an SEC championship in 2002. Over the course of his career, he set an SEC career record with 11,270 career-passing yards and also threw for 72 passes. In the 2005 NFL Draft, he was selected in the third round with the 85th overall pick by the Seattle Seahawks. He played the first two seasons of his NFL career in Seattle and then played in the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts organizations from 2007 to 2008. After his retirement he returned to Atlanta and began a successful career as an insurance broker. He also made an appearance on MLB Network’s hit show “The Next Knuckler”.
