About Dee Brown
Dee Brown played 12 NBA seasons, mostly notably with the Boston Celtics. As rookie, Brown won the Slam Dunk Contest and was named a first-team All-Rookie. He started two seasons in Boston and averaged over 15 points per game. Brown played parts of eight seasons with the Celtics and finished out his career with the Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic. Following his playing career, he coached the Orlando Miracle and San Antonio Silver Stars in the WNBA. After some forays in broadcasting and private basketball training, Brown decided to get back into coaching in 2009. He headed up the D-League’s Springfield Armor for two seasons. Brown then became an assistant coach with the Detroit Pistons and is currently on the staff of the Sacramento Kings.
