About Dejounte Murray
Dejounte Murray is a star point guard for the New Orleans Pelicans. The San Antonio Spurs originally selected Murray in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft. As a rookie, he helped San Antonio make the Western Conference Finals.
Murray took the next step in year two, becoming the youngest player ever to be named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team. In 2022, his final year with the Spurs, he was named an All-Star and led the NBA in steals.
Before arriving in San Antonio, he played college basketball at the University of Washington.
