About Demetric Evans
Demetric Evans is a former NFL defensive lineman who spent nine seasons playing for the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers. He worked his way up after going unselected in the 2001 NFL Draft. Evans wound up playing in 126 NFL games. In 2004, he rose from unheraldedfree agent signee with the Redskinsto make eight starts. During his final campaign with Washington in 2008, Evans started in 11 games and finished tied for second on the team with 3.5 sacks. He played collegiately at the University of Georgia and went back to school to complete his degree in 2011. Evans currently serves as a consultant and mentor for the National Football League Players Association.
