About Dennis Dixon
Dennis Dixon joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2008 as a fifth round selection out of the University of Oregon. While playing for the Oregon Ducks he earned AllAmerican honors in 2007 and was named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year. In 2007 he was selected in both the MLB Draft and NFL Draft. Upon being selected in the fifth round of the MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves he played one season in the minors before joining the Pittsuburgh Steelers to pursue a career in football. Dixon played his first three NFL seasons with the Steelers from 2008 to 2011 and helped them to a Super Bowl title in 2008. In 2012 he joined the Baltimore Ravens and won a second Super Bowl ring before heading to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013 and seeing time with the Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals over the next two seasons.
