About Diana Flores
Diana Flores stands as a pioneering Mexican flag football athlete who serves as a leading international ambassador for the sport. As the Mexico Women’s National Flag Football Team captain and quarterback she led her team to win the gold medal at the 2022 World Games through a dominant 39–6 victory against the United States. The Mexican flag football player Flores has competed in four IFAF Flag Football World Championships starting from 2014 until 2021 while winning silver and bronze medals throughout those tournaments.
Through her athletic career Flores has emerged as a leading figure who supports women's participation in sports. In 2023 she appeared in the NFL Emmy-winning Super Bowl LVII commercial "Run With It" together with Billie Jean King and MrBeast to promote flag football's inclusion in the 2028 Summer Olympics. The Pro Football Hall of Fame added Flores' commercial jersey along with a signed football to its collection marking the first time artifacts from a flag football player were accepted for enshrinement.
The sports broadcasting career of Flores includes game analysis work for FOX Deportes and Univision. She completed her marketing and communications bachelor's degree at Tecnológico de Monterrey before starting her MBA program at EGADE Business School. The recognition of her work led to her inclusion in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list for 2024 while she maintains her position as IFAF Athletes' Committee chair.
