Dino Babers

Dino Babers is one of the most highly regarded offensive coaches in college football. Babers is currently the offensive coordinator at Arizona. From 2016-23, he served as the head coach at Syracuse. In 2018, the Orange and Babers reached a high-water mark with a 10-3 record and top-15 finish. Babers was also recognized as the ACC Coach of the Year by the Associated Press.

Babers got his first Division 1 head coaching opportunity with Bowling Green in 2014. He went 8-6 and 10-3 in his two seasons with the Falcons. During his first year, BGSU captured the Mid-American Conference East Division and they won the MAC in year two.

Babers first became a head coach at Eastern Illinois in 2012. The Panthers reached the FCS Playoffs and finished in the top 25 each year under his watch. Babers spent significant time building his resume as an assistant for some of the top programs in college football. He jumped on head coaching radars as a member of Art Briles staff at Baylor.

Before that, Babers spent four seasons as a coach at UCLA. He also coaches at major programs like Purdue, Arizona, Texas A&M, and Pittsburgh. Babers' career in coaching began at his alma mater, Hawaii. He was a graduate assistant for the program in 1984 before serving as a GA for a year at Arizona State.
