About Dustin Brown
Dustin Brown is the captain of the Los Angeles Kings, and has been one of the most consistent players in the NHL over the last decade. As the first Kings captain to ever lead the franchise to a Stanley Cup victory in 2012 he is revered among hockey faithful in Los Angeles. After following that performance up by leading his team to a second Stanley Cup in 2014 he became a legend in a city where that title is not thrown around lightly.
Having earned a reputation for his physical play and quiet confidence on the ice, his opponents both fear and respect him as he leads the King out on the ice. Internationally, he has represented the United States of America on several occasions, bringing home a bronze medal for the stars and stripes at the 2004 World Championships and a Silver Medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
A native New Yorker, Dustin Brown has made Los Angeles his home and has dedicated much of his time to helping out in his adopted community. For his work in the community and dedication to helping others he was awarded the 2011 NHL Foundation Player Award.
