About Dyson Daniels
Dyson Daniels is an Australian professional basketball player who serves as a guard for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA. He was originally drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans in 2022 and then traded to the Hawks in 2024. In 2025, Dyson Daniels had the best season of his career, scoring 14 PPG on six rebounds and four assists. This was enough for him to earn the Most Improved Player award for the 2024-25 NBA Season. Daniels also led the league in steals, averaging 3 steals per game with 202 total steals throughout the entire season. This led him to be named to the All-NBA Defensive First team, a very high honor. His high steal numbers combined with his Australian background gave him the nickname, "The Great Barrier Thief." Dyson Daniels makes a consistent impact on both ends of the court.
