About Emma Raducanu
Emma Raducanu is already one of the top British tennis players of all-time. Raducanu became the first British woman to take a Grand Slam singles title in over 40 years when she won the 2021 U.S. Open. What is even more impressive is that she was victorious in the event during her first year on the WTA tournament. She also went from a wildcard entry all the way to the fourth round in her first Grand Slam event at Wimbledon. Raducanu was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year and a Member of the Order of the British Empire. The following year, she won the Laureus World Sports Award for Breakthrough of the Year.
