About Eric Jackson
From Warren. Ohio, Eric Jackson is a world champion freestyle kayaker. Jackson quickly found success in his kayaking career and in 1993 he won the first of his 4 world championships (2001, 2005, 2007). Jackson has been a member of the United States of America Kayaking every year since 1989 and competed in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. At the Olympics, he finished 13th place in the K-1 event. As one of the worlds best, Jackson has written two instructional books and created several instructional DVDs on many aspects of whitewater and competitive kayaking. Jackson has also helped design his own kayak and is the founder the kayak company, Jackson Kayaking.
