Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a professional boxer who is currently undefeated as a professional and is a five-division world champion. In 1993, 1994 and 1995, Mayweather won the national Golden Gloves championships as an amateur. Mayweather fought his first professional fight on October 11, 1996. From 1996- 1998, most of Mayweather’s fights were won by knockouts. Mayweather became the first 1996 U.S. Olympian to win a world title. In 1998, Mayweather won his first world title. At the end of 1998, Mayweather was ranked as the #8-ranked poundfor-pound best boxer in the world. Mayweather appeared on the fifth season of Dancing With The Stars, where he finished in ninth place. He has a custom built mansion in Las Vegas, Nevada where he plans on retiring in 2015.
