Floyd Reese Speaker and Booking Agent Information

Floyd Reese is a former football executive well-known for his long association with the Tennessee Titans. Reese actually started with the franchise as a linebackers coach in 1986 while they were still the Houston Oilers. He was promoted to assistant general manager in 1990. Reese became the general manager in 1994 and helped the franchise transition from Houston to Nashville. He also added the title of executive vice president in 2001. Reese is credited with building the team that reached the Super Bowl in 1999. He drafted franchise cornerstones like Eddie George, Jevon Kearse and Steve McNair. Reese served in the position until 2006. He then joined ESPN as an analyst before becoming an advisor for the New England Patriots from 2009-12. Prior to becoming a front office executive, Reese had extensive experience as a coach. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, UCLA, in 1971. Reese also coached at Georgia Tech before getting a job in the NFL with the Detroit Lions. He also coached for the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings.
