About Fredrik Jacobson
Fredrik Jacobson is a professional golfer who currently competes on the PGA Tour and has formerly competed on the European Tour. Originally from Sweden, Jacobson turned professional in 1994 on the European Tour after a successful amateur career. For the next several years, Jacobson would go on to win three events on the tour, becoming good enough to eventually earn a spot on the PGA Tour in 2004. After joining the PGA Tour, Jacobson would win his first event in 2011 at the Travelers Championship. His best finish in a major championship is a tied for 5th place in the 2003 US Open, following this up with a tied for 6th finish at The Open Championship that same year. Jacobson has been one of the most consistent players on the tour since his first season in 2004, and looks to add to his impressive trophy case in the years to come.
