About Garret Anderson
Garret Anderson is a former professional outfielder in the MLB. While in high school, Anderson played baseball, basketball and football. Anderson won two AllLos Angeles City honors and two All-League honors in baseball. In his junior year, he helped his team win the Los Angeles City Championship. The California Angels selected Anderson in the fourth round of the 1990 MLB Draft. He made his debut for the Angels on July 27, 1994 where he went two for four batting and recorded his first career hit. Anderson only played in five games during his rookie year. On April 26, 1995, Anderson was called up to the Angels and spent the rest of the year with them. Anderson was with the California/Anaheim/Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 1994-2006. He then played a season with the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Over his career he has been a 3x All-Star, 2x Silver Slugger Award winner, World Series Champion, MLB All-Star Game MVP and Home Run Derby winner.
