About Gianmarco Tamberi
Gianmarco Tamberi made Italy proud at the 2020 Olympics, when he won gold in the high jump. Tamberi had previously netted gold in the event at the 2016 World Indoor Championships, 2016 European Championships, and the 2019 European Indoor Championships. He also became the first Italian to win the Diamond League championship in 2021. His father, Marco, is his coach and a former Italian record holder.
