About Gordon Hayward
Gordon Hayward gained notoriety during his college days at Butler University when he led his team to a runner-up finish in the 2010 NCAA Tournament. In 2010 he was the only player in the Horizon League to finish top five in both scoring and rebounding, earning him Horizon League Player of the Year honors to go along with being named an Academic All-American by ESPN The Magazine. After the 2010 season he declared for the NBA draft and was selected with the 9th overall pick in the 1st round by the Utah Jazz. Hayward's career in Utah culminated in an All-Star berth in 2017. He proceeded to join the Boston Celtics as a free agent and, after three seasons, signed the Charlotte Hornets in 2020.
