About Greg Herenda
Greg Herenda took over a massive rebuilding project at Fairleigh Dickinson and has produced results. After two tough seasons, the Knights turned it around in his third season, going 18-15 overall. They won their first Northeast Conference Championship since 2005 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Prior to arriving in Hackensack, Herenda was the head coach for five seasons at UMass Lowell. He took the program to four NCAA Division II Tournaments. Herenda also spent a season apiece as the head coach at Elgin Community College and Cabrini College before getting the UMass Lowell job. He had stints as an assistant coach with East Carolina, Yale, Seton Hall, Holy Cross, and his alma mater, Merrimack.
