About Greg Kraft
Greg Kraft is a native of Detroit, Michigan. When he was a kid he was fascinated by the sport of golf and eventually pursued his passion at the college level, making his way down to the sunshine state to play collegiately at the University of Tampa. Upon graduation he turned pro and earned a spot on both the Nationwide Tour and the PGA Tour. Although he turned pro in 1987 he remained consistent over the next two decades, capturing three professional wins, including a Nationwide Tour win at the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic in 2005 and a PGA Tour win at the Puerto Rico Open in 2008. He also competed in several majors on tour, finishing in the top 25 at the 1998 PGA Championship and in the top 50 at the 1994 event.
Kraft’s last even on the PGA Tour came in 2011. However he remains active in the sport and is a trusted ambassador both on and off the course. His consistency on Tour for 25 years is a testament to his hard work and determination to succeed at his passion no matter what obstacles stood in his way.
