About Greg Zipadelli
Greg Zipadelli is a crew chief on the NASCAR circuit and one of the best in the business. During his time in NASCAR he helped lead Tony Stewart to two Sprint Cup championships in 2002 and 2005 and has also led Joe Gibbs Racing to 34 race wins. Known as “Zippy”, his ability to lead a crew is second to none. He began his career as a crew chief in 1988 at age 21 and won a championship with Mike McLaughlin in his first year. He remained with McLaughlin until making the transition to NASCAR in 1999 with Joe Gibbs Racing. Best known as the crew chief for the #20 Home Depot car which was driven by both Tony Stewart and Joey Lagano, he is one of the most decorated and respected crew chiefs in history. Since leaving Joe Gibbs Racing in 2011 he has served as a part-time crew chief for Danica Patrick and also served as the crew chief for Austin Dillon’s team in the 2013 Camping World RV Sales 500.
