About Ian Leggatt
Ian Leggatt is a former professional golfer and currently serves as a golf analyst on Sportsnet. Leggatt had a dream to be one of the best golfers in the world and he has pursued that dream. As a pre-teen, Leggatt would go over to a lake during the week and play golf with whomever he could. Leggatt attended Texas Wesleyan College where he played college and he turned professional in 1990. As a rookie in 2001, Leggatt underwent three laser eye surgeries. Leggatt played on the Nationwide Tour and the PGA Tour. His only PGA Tour win came on February 24, 2002 at the Touchstone Energy Tucson Open. In 2008, Leggatt won his second and final professional win at the 2008 BUY.com Dayton Open. He retired from golf in 2009 due to injuries and he soon began working as an agent/consultant for Wasserman Media Group in their golf management division.
