About Isaac Bruce
Isaac Bruce is a former professional wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL. Bruce attended West Los Angeles College and Santa Monica College before he finished his football career at the University of Memphis. The Los Angeles Rams selected Bruce in the 2nd round as the 33rd overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft. On July 14, 1994, Bruce signed a 3-year, $1.75 million contract with the Rams. As a rookie, Bruce won the Carroll Rosenbloom Award. Bruce caught his first reception, a 34-yard touchdown pass in September 1994. When the team moved to St. Louis in 1995, Bruce went with them. While with the Rams, Bruce was a 4x Pro Bowl selection, 2x Rams MVP, second-team All-Pro selection, Rams True Value Man of the Year award winner and Rams Sprint Good Sport Man of the Year winner. Bruce signed with the San Francisco 49ers on February 29, 2008 for a two-year deal. Prior to retiring, Bruce was traded to the Rams so he could retire as a Ram.
