About Jaccob Slavin
Jaccob Slavin is an All-Star defenseman for the Carolina Hurricanes. Drafted 120th overall by Carolina in 2012, he played two seasons at Colorado College, earning NCHC Rookie of the Year in 2014 before debuting in 2015-16. A career Hurricane, he's posted over 300 points with a +176 rating, making him top-tier among U.S.-born players. Internationally, Slavin helped Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off and anchored the blue line at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, contributing defensively to America's gold medal in the 2-1 OT win over Canada, earning USA's first men's hockey gold since 1980.
