About Jackie MacMullan
Jackie MacMullan has been a prominent national sports writer for decades. MacMullan got her start in writing with the Boston Globe in 1982. She rose to the level of columnist and associate editor at the paper before departing in 2008. From 1995-2000, MacMullan was a senior writer for Sports Illustrated. She now writes for ESPN.com and works on a freelance basis. She has also gained wider popularity as a regular panelist on ESPN's "Around the Horn." MacMullan is a bestselling author who has collaborated with some of the biggest sports personalities of the modern era on book projects. In 2010, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame gave her theCurt Gowdy Media Award.
