About Jackson LaCombe
Jackson LaCombe is a star defenseman and alternate captain for the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL. He was drafted 39th overall by Anaheim in 2019. After starring at the University of Minnesota, he signed his entry-level deal in 2023, debuted that April, and signed an eight-year extension in 2025. In 2025-26, he posted strong numbers (37 points in 56 games early season) and earned alternate captain status. Internationally, LaCombe won gold with Team USA at the 2021 World Juniors and 2025 Worlds. In 2026, he was a late addition to the Milano Cortina Olympic roster, contributing to Team USA's gold-medal win over Canada in OT and earning his first Olympic medal.
