About Jalen Brunson
Jalen Brunson is a star point guard for the New York Knicks. The Dallas Mavericks originally selected Brunson in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft. Brunson spent the first four seasons of his career with the Mavs before joining the Knicks. He is one of the greatest players in Villanova University history. Brunson was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team in 2016 and helped the Wildcats win a national championship. He received back-to-back All-Big East first-team honors in 2017 and 2018. As a junior, Brunson was the consensus National Player of the Year and led Villanova to their second national championship in three years. He was also a consensus first-team All-American and won the Bob Cousy Award as the nation's top point guard. Brunson averaged 18.9 points and 4.6 assists as a junior. He came to Villanova as a consensus five-star prospect out of Stevenson High School in Illinois. Brunson was a McDonald's All-American and Illinois Mr. Basketball in 2015.
