About Jamie Donaldson
Jamie Donaldson is one of the stars on the European and PGA Tours. With seven professional wins to his name, he is one of the most popular players due to his style and aggressive play on the greens. A native of Pontypridd, Wales, Donaldson turned pro in 2001 and became a prominent name on the Challenge Tour. Eventually he earned his way onto the European Tour and won his first title in 2012, finishing with a four-stroke lead at The Irish Open. 2012 turned out to be a big year for Donaldson, as he finished tied for 7th place at the PGA Championship and finished 19th on the Race to Dubai. In 2013 he worked his way inside the top 30 in the World Golf Ranking after playing brilliantly at the US Open and The Open Championship. Although he competed on the PGA Tour in 2013 as a non-member, his performance on tour earned him a PGA Tour card for the 2014 season. One of the shining accomplishments in his career came in 2014 when he secured the winning point for the European Ryder Cup team. Donaldson is a young, experienced tour pro with a bright future ahead of him on the links.
