About Jamie MoCrazy
By the time she was 18, Jamie MoCrazy had won Junior World Championships and continue training as a professional slopestyle and halfpipe skier. In 2013, she went on to become the first woman in the world to land a double backflip at X-Games.
In 2015, Jamie experienced a horrific crash at the World Tour Finals that resulted in her going into a coma, sustaining a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and becoming paralyzed. In an instant, Jamie went from being one of the world’s best slopestyle skiers to relearning basic gross motor skills like walking upstairs and riding a bike.
Despite the monumental challenges, Jamie’s family did not let the results of the accident keep her down.
Jamie’s mother, affectionately known as “Mama MoCrazy”, applied her many years studying developmental psychology to help Jamie progress further than anyone on her medical team thought possible.
The techniques she used to help Jamie regain her mobility and confidence were the same practices she applied to guide Jamie and her sister Jeanee to become world-class athletes.
Today, Jamie, Jeanee, and Mama MoCrazy have created MoCrazy Strong to develop inspirational keynotes, programs and workshops that share their methodologies for charging forward in life with optimism.
