About Jann Mardenborough
Jann Mardenborough has one of the unique stories in auto racing. In 2011, he beat out 90,000 entrants to win the GT Academy competition. Mardenbourough had never seriously competed in motorsports before and was the youngest winner in GT Academy history. He won the right to drive for Nissan at the 24 Hour Dubai. Mardenborough has raced in a variety of classes and switched to formula racing in 2013. He finished third in his first run at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013. From 2013-14, Mardenborough ran in the Toyota Racing Series. In 2014, he picked up three victories on the way to a second place finish in the standings. He is now racing in Japan's Super Formula Series with Toyota. Sports Pro Media has named him one of the 50 most marketable athletes in the world.
