Jason Dufner

Jason Dufner began playing golf early in his teens and went on to become an All-American at Auburn University, despite having to walk-on to the team. After earning his degree in economics from Auburn in 2000 he turned pro and has since become one of the top golfers in the world. Early in his pro career he competed on the Nationwide Tour from and eventually earned his PGA Tour card in 2006. Since that time he has notched three victories on the PGA Tour, including a win at the 2013 PGA Championship. He’s also had two excellent finishes at the U.S. Open, placing fourth in consecutive years in 2012 and 2013. To date he has earned $17.2 million in earnings on the PGA Tour and finished a career high 4th on the money list in 2012. Prior to his win at the PGA Championship a phrase called “Dufnering” began to circulate on popular social networking sites concerning his laid back mannerisms. Many times he can be found slumped over with no expression on his face, which can be amusing to some but it is just his way of staying in the zone. Since that time many people have gotten a kick out of doing the “Dufner” in public, which he says as great fun.
