About Jason Spezza
Jason Spezza was the 2nd overall pick in the 2001 NHL Draft and joined the Ottawa Senators on the ice in 2002. Prior to becoming the Senators top pick he competed internationally on the Canadian World Juniors team at the age of 16, making him one of the youngest players to ever play on the team. During that time he helped bring home three World Junior Championships and two World Championships. Over the course of his 12 year career in the NHL he has played for the Senators and Dallas Stars and earned two NHL All-Star appearances. Off the ice, he participates in a number of community activities and is actively involved with contributing to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. In 2008 Spezza was the cover man for the popular NHL 2k8 video game that premiered on both PlayStation and Xbox gaming systems.
