About Jayson Megna
Jayson Megna is a forward in the National Hockey League, currently playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Megna has been playing professional ice hockey since 2012, in which he entered the NFL Draft as a free agent. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1990 and with athleticism running in the family blood, his younger brother Jaycob also debuted professionally in 2012, being selected by the Anaheim Ducks. Megna was the star of his high school hockey team at Glenbrook North High School and Tabor Academy. After graduating high school in 2009, he went on to play two seasons in the United States Hockey League before attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he played alongside his brother Jaycob. Since signing with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2012, Megna scored his first NHL goal against the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2013 season. He is expected to do great things and be a vital contribution to the Penguins’ success in the upcoming years.
