About Jeff Brohm
Jeff Brohm is the very successful head coach of Louisville football. Prior to returning to his alma mater, Brohm spent six years as the head coach at Purdue, guiding the program to the Big 10 Championship Game in his final season. He came to the Boilermakers from Western Kentucky. In 2015, the Hilltopppers went 12-2, won Conference USA and finished the season ranked 24th by the Associated Press. In his first season at WKU, the team went 8-5 with a win in the inaugural Bahamas Bowl. Before becoming head coach, Brohm was the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator for one season under Bobby Petrino at Western Kentucky. He has a long history with Petrino, having served as his quarterbacks coach at Louisville. Brohm also spent a year as the offensive coordinator at UL before moving on to coaching positions at FAU, Illinois, and UAB. He played his college football at Louisville and was born and raised in the city. Brohm also had a seven-year NFL playing career. While mostly serving as a backup, he did see action in eight games across two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
