About Jeff Scott
Jeff Scott is the former head football coach at the University of South Florida. The Florida native had an extensive resume in the profession prior to being hired by the Bulls in 2019. Scott was born in Florida, but spent a great deal of time in the state of South Carolina. His father, Brad, was the former head coach at South Carolina and a long-time assistant at Clemson. Scott also played at Clemson from 2000-02. He then began his coaching career in the state at Blythewood High School. His only season there he led the school to a state title in their inaugural year playing football. Scott coached wide receivers at Presbyterian for one year after that before returning to Clemson as wide receivers coach in 2008. He remained on the staff for over a decade, eventually serving as co-offensive coordinator from 2015-19. While in that position, Scott helped the Tigers win two CFP national championships.
