Jimmy Clausen

Jimmy Clausen is a Westlake Village, California native and signed to play at Notre Dame University after one of the most outstanding prep careers in recent memory. During his four-year career as a starter at Oaks Christian he never lost a game, posting a 42-0 career record and throwing for a California state record 10,677 yards and 146 touchdowns. During his senior year in 2006 he threw for 49 touchdowns and led his team to the first State Championship in school history. His performance landed him USA Today Offensive Player of the Year honors and the 2006 Hall Trophy as the nation’s top high school football player. After signing with Notre Dame he became their starting quarterback and averaged over 3,000 yards passing per year during his college career to go along with 60 touchdowns. In 2010 the Carolina Panthers selected him with the 48th overall pick in the 2nd Round of the NFL Draft, making him one of the faces of their franchise. Clausen played his first four seasons in Carolina before signing with the Chicago Bears in 2014. He started games for the Bears and Baltimore Ravens in 2015 before stepping away from the field.
