Jimmy Walker

Jimmy Walker was born and raised in Oklahoma City and headed south to the lone star state to play his collegiate golf at Baylor University. After a standout collegiate career at Baylor he set his sights on a professional golf career and joined the nationwide tour 2001 at the age of 22. Over the next two years he won the BellSouth Panama Championship and the Chitimacha Louisiana Open in route to becoming the Nationwide Tour’s leading money winner and Player of the Year in 2004. The following year he joined the PGA Tour and began working his way up to eventual stardom. In 2013 he won his first event, the Frys.com Open, which launched him into the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings. The following year he put himself on the map with victories at the Sony Open in Hawaii and AT&% Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, and solid finishes at all-four major tournaments. After finishing 8th at the Masters Tournament he posted a 9th place finish at the U.S. Open, a 26th place finish at The Open Championship and a 7th place finish at the PGA Championship. His performance in 2014 earned him a spot on the 2014 US Ryder Cup Team, a career high 17th place ranking on the Official World Golf Ranking and over $2 million in earnings for the season.
