About John Chayka
John Chayka is the general manager of the Arizona Coyotes. In May 2016, he became the youngest GM league history and major American sports history at 26 years old. He was 14 years younger than the NHL's next youngest general manager. Chayka had previously been the assistant general manager for the Coyotes. He began his career in hockey working for the company, Stathletes. Chayka co-founded that company and served as their director of hockey operations. Before launching into the business side of sports, he played junior hockey before a back injury ended his career.
