About John-Henry Krueger
John-Henry Krueger is an American short track speed skater who is the United States national champion in the 500-, 1000- and 1,500-meter events. Krueger won a silver medal at the 2018 Olympics in the 1,000-meter event. He also competed in the 1,500-meter race as an individual and with Team USA in the 5,000-meter relay. He set a world record in the latter event with his teammates in 2017. Krueger began skating at the age of five and joined the Pittsburgh Speedskating Club. He originally made waves in the sport by winning three medals at the 2012 World Junior Championships.
