About John Moffitt
John Moffitt joined the Seattle Seahawks as a third round selection in 2011 out of the University of Wisconsin. During his career with the Badgers he earned AP AllAmerican honors at offensive guard and earned a reputation as one of the top allaround run and pass blockers in the country. Moffitt was selected with the 75th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Seahawks and played the first two seasons of his career in Seattle. In 2013 he was traded to the Denver Broncos, where he became a valuable member of their squad through much of that season. Moffitt retired in 2013 due to injuries, showing courage by placing his well being before football. Although he loved the sport and did whatever he had to do to play and succeed, his future was more important to him than money, which is an admirable trait.
