About John Senden
John Senden is the pride of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and grew up playing golf all over the world. Prior to turning pro in 1992 he was one of the top amateur players in the world and won several titles in his home country of Australia. Since turning pro in 1992 he has played on the PGA Tour, PGA Tour of Australasia, European Tour and Asian Tour and won six events. He captured his first win as a pro in 1996 at the Indonesian PGA Championship. He followed that up with two wins on the Challenger Tour in 1998 at the Interlaken Open and Open de Strasbourg. In 2006 he won the MFS Australian Open on the PGA Tour of Australasia and also won his first PGA Tour event at the John Deere Classic. In 2007 he posted his best finish in a major championship, placing 4th at the PGA Championship. Since that time he has finished 10th at he 2012 US Open, 34th at the 2012 Open Championship and 8th at the 2014 Masters Tournament.
