About John Wroblewski
John Wroblewski is the head coach of the U.S. Women’s Hockey Team. He played college hockey at the University of Notre Dame, serving as captain and earning MVP honors in his senior year, and then played four professional seasons in the ECHL. He transitioned to coaching, working with USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program (NTDP), the Ontario Reign, and other minor league teams. In August 2022, he became head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Ice Hockey Team. Under his leadership, the team won IIHF World Championships in 2023 and 2025, went undefeated internationally in the lead-up to the 2026 Olympics, and captured Olympic gold in Milano Cortina.
