About Jordan Burroughs
Jordan Burroughs is a world champion and Olympic gold medal winning freestyle wrestler that has represented the United States with honor on the international circuit. Burroughs earned a reputation as one of the top amateur wrestlers in the country in high school after bringing home a Senior National Championship at Winslow Township High School in New Jersey. After posting a 115-20 career record in high school he headed to the University of Nebraska and did much of the same, winning two NCAA National Championships in 2009 and 2011, and becoming a three time All-American. In 2011 he was named the winner of the Hodge Trophy as the nation’s top wrestler. Since college he has dominated on the international circuit, winning two World Championships in 2011 and 2013 and winning a gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics in the 74 kg weight division. He returned to the United States as a national hero and a wrestling icon.
