About Jordan Hendry
Jordan Hendry is a Nokomis, Canada native and played his collegiate hockey at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. After a stellar career he signed with the Norfolk Animals in the American Hockey League and played one season before signing a contract with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2006. Hendry made his NHL debut in 2007 and went on to help his team to a Stanley Cup title in 2010. He went on to play four seasons with the Blackhawks before joining Houston Aeros in the AHL, HC Lugano in the NLA and Norfolk Admirals in the AHL from 2011 to 2012. In 2012 he returned to the NHL with the Anaheim Ducks. Currently Hendry played with the Straubing Tigers in the Swedish Hockey League. During his time in the NHL he scored 4 goals and added 9 assists for a total of 13 points in 131 games while playing stellar defense. He’s a hockey player in every sense of the word. He’s tough, determined, and his leadership on and off the ice is second to none.
