About Kelly Pavlik
Kelly Pavlik was one of the most popular boxers in modern times. Pavlik was the WBO, WBC, and The Ring middleweight champion for nearly three years from 2007-2010. He finished 40-2 for his career, with his only two losses coming in a catch-weight bout with Bernard Hopkins and a fight with Sergio Martinez where he lost his belts. Pavlik’s most notable wins came in back-to-back showdowns with Jermain Taylor, the first of which won him his three titles. When he became a pro in 2000, he won his first 26 fights. Pavlik grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and won several amateur championships. “The Ghost” will always be remembered by an entire era of fight fans.
