About Ken O Brien

Two-time Pro Bowler Ken O’Brien had a memorable career under center for the New York Jets.  O’Brien was a first round pick of the Jets in the legendary quarterback draft of 1983.  The 1985 season marked his first trip to the Pro Bowl and he also led the NFL in quarterback rating.  O’Brien became the first NFL QB to throw for over 400 yards in a game and earn a perfect QBR.  He was a relative unknown coming out of the University of California, Davis.  In his senior year, UCD went 10-0 in the regular season and reached the Division II National Championship.  O’Brien was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1997.  He now is a partner for IWP Wealth Management.
