About Kenny Phillips
Kenny Phillips is a veteran NFL safety for the New Orleans Saints. Phillips spent the first five seasons of his career with the New York Giants. He helped the Giants pull off the improbable and win Super Bowl XLVI over the previously undefeated New England Patriots. When the franchise took him 31st overall in 2008, Phillips was apart of a 14 year streak of at least one University of Miami player going in the first round. He was a two-time first-team All-ACC pick in his three seasons with the Canes. The Miami native was one of the best players in his high school class of 2004. Coming out of Carol City Senior High School, Philips was the USA Today Defensive Player of the Year and a Parade All-American. USA Today, Rivals, and Scout all ranked him as the best safety in America and he was considered the top player in Dade County according to the Miami Herald.
